Compared to the 170 days stats of 2007 (http://tigerdenbodu.livejournal.com/2007/06/12/) food has come down as a percentage (but remains the largest category) and books has become a major discard item. Clothing discards also increased significantly as a percentage. Stationery came down somewhat and the other groups were relatively steady.

I've largely kept pace with discarding old clothes when new items are acquired. The largest categories for clothing acquisition for 2008 were: hosiery (10), tops (9), skirts (3) and cardigans/jumpers (3). On the disposal side the largest categories were: tops (15), socks/knee-high stockings (8), hosiery (6) and underwear (6), and footwear (4). I commence 2009 with fewer tops, socks and underwear and more hosiery and skirts.

I think I'll start afresh as of now for the daily junk disposal records. There were enough days of multiple items to cover me for the remainder of 2008.
